In a time of economic difficulty, developing the Leadership and Management skills of key individuals within an organisation becomes increasingly important. Strong leadership is essential to the development of any organisation.
The LSC Leadership and Management programme can offer a grant of up to £1000 (second £500 must be match funded) which can be used on accredited training, one to one support, coaching, mentoring and many other development opportunities.
The Leadership and Management offer is available to up to 2 company directors and/or senior managers in a private limited companies, charities, voluntary or not for profit organisations employing between 2 and 249 employees (including volunteers) in the North East Region. Each business will be eligible for a one to one visit from a Leadership and Management Specialist Adviser and a Personal Development Plan identifying training needs.
The grant could be used to purchase a wide range of activities to develop a business response to the current economic recession such as:
- Business and Financial Planning
- Risk Identification/Management
- Marketing and Sales
- Operations
- Performance Management
- Skills & Motivation
The offer to businesses employing between 2 and 5 employees is for accredited training only.
