Business Mentoring and Coaching

This is the process of training individuals on a one-to-one basis, focusing specifically on their total personality and then providing the counseling and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Coaching and mentoring are very similar in nature and often many training providers would fall in both categories.

However mentoring, in the traditional sense, is the process of providing support and guidance through a colleague/trainer with specific experience and knowledge that will benefit the individual. While coaching, on the other hand, does not usually require the coach (trainer)to have direct experience of their client's formal occupation or role.

Types of Coaching and Mentoring?

  • Business coaching and mentoring – suitable for employees and managers at all levels
  • Executive coaching and mentoring – aimed at executives, high-flyers, board members and CEOs
  • Performance coaching and mentoring – suitable for all individuals designed to improve performance rather than rectification of an issue or problem (based in business and sports psychology)
  • Skills coaching and mentoring – designed for managers combining personal development with focus on core skill areas directly relevant to them.
